"Frustrations of an Uncle"

One wonderful evening turned not so good for one of my uncle. As the night went by, while he and his sons were having an "inuman" session, he told us the feeling of frustrations he felt all throughout his life.

Me, my cousins, and my mom did not know that he went through such agony in his life. He was talking about the "crab mentality" that he experienced with his own family. In all honesty, he was a very bright student and graduated in one of the most premiere universities here in Baguio City.

He told us that despite his credentials, he did not hit the job that he was aiming for and what's worse is he did not achieve his dreams in life. It is a sad story because even though he wants to achieve his goals, time has caught up to him. He is past his prime.

Personally, I learned something from my uncle's life. I realized that since I am still young, I must maximize my potential in life. I must not give up no matter what. If I want something, then I will do whatever it takes to grasp my goals in life. I wanted to tell my uncle not to give up, but he was having his moment. So I just listened to him and learned something from him.
